Talking about the quality of lock is usually related to the technical terms,such as confidentiality,fastness,flexibility and durability,etc..which is the most important index to evaluate the quality of the lock.
1. Durability
The durability is the specific index of measuring the service life of the lock and the key,which is one of the important indexes of evaluation.
2. Fastness
Fastness is the comprehensive index to measure the tensile,compression,torsion resistance and the lock and key’s service life of the riveted parts and components in the lock structure.
3. The number of key’s teeth
The number of the key’s teeth refers to the number of the management of key’s teeth.And greater the number of key’s teeth,the higher the security of the door lock.
4. Flexibility
The flexibility is the technical index to determine whether the lock is convenient to use.And it includes many functions like the sensitivity of the transmission parts,such as the opening or closing,plug-in,lock core,door lock handle,bolt of the lock and etc.
5. Confidentiality
The confidentiality is the security  and reliability of the lock after closing and the ability of preventing the foreign things opening.The key of each lock is with different key’s teeth and mutual opening rate,which are its important indexes.And different kinds of locks are providing for the different safety devices and defensive measurements.
6. Interchangeability
In the same kind of lock,using the keys to open the non-matched lock is called interchangeability.And the smaller the number,the higher the security of the lock.

The nouns terms for locks’ performance
1. Safety chain
The safety chain is locked,and the people cannot enter the house even if the door is open.And he cannot unload the safety chain with his hand,but can withstand the impact.
2. Anti-insertion
The head of the lock core is with the steps which is to prevent the thin steel sheets or the other foreign objects into gap between the lock core and lock head to separate the upper bolt.
3. Anti-drawing
In the regular time,using the foreign things(in comparison with the keys)to do the non-destroy test to the lock and cannot open the lock.
4. Anti-drill
Using the drilled bit(￠6mm drilled bit for lock with double tongues) to drill the surfaces of upper or low bolt,and fail to drill into.
5. Anti-unloading
When the lock is installed on the door,and it cannot be removed.
6. Anti-destroy
After the lock tongue is extended,the pressure with the specific weight shall not be exceed the loosening and indentation of the standard.
7. The self protection of lock tongue
The lock tongue is with the self-protecting security,and when the security is pressed,the lock tongue cannot be returned to the lock hole.
8. External protection
When using the key to lock the security bit outside,the inside knob cannot be open.
9. Internal protection
When lock the security bit inside,the door cannot be open outside even by the key.
