The Steps of Exchange
1.Open the door so that you can operate the door handle from outside or inside of the door.And then find the two screws on the inner door handle cover cap,which are fixed together to secure the inner and outer door lock handle.
2.Use the cross screwdriver to fix the two screws counterclockwise.And pull the inner door handle away from the door.
3.Remove two screws with a cross screwdriver on the outer edge of the pin door.And pull out the pin board assembly when you are outside of the door.
4.Use the cross screwdriver to pull the two fixed pin boards out counterclockwise.
5.Let the new latch assembly through the hole on the edge of the door,and curve of the latch bolt should be pointed to the outside of the door.The latch should be fixed to the door handle by the attached wood screws.T
6.When you are inside the door,the outer door handle should be pushed in the hole outside the door,and check if the cylinder of the latch is suitable.And press the door handle till the cover is tighten with the door.
7.Insert the door handle from the inner door,And then use the two fixed screws to install the door handle to the hole of the cap board clockwise.Then tighten the screw with the cross screwdriver.
8.Fix the impact plate to the inside of the door frame with the screws kit.Around the inside of the door frame curved curved side of the door frame, the impact plate, kit with screws fixed.
